Holden is a North Carolina native and was born and raised here in Wake Forest. Before graduating from Wake Forest High School, Holden was named the 2012 Trentini Foundation Scholar. In 2016, he graduated from Hampden-Sydney College. In 2020, Holden received both his J.D. from Campbell University in Raleigh, North Carolina, and his Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill¹s School of Government.
While at Campbell, Holden completed internships at the North Carolina General Assembly and the Johnston County District Attorney’s Office. Holden also competed on Campbell’s trial team and was elected to serve as the President of the Student Bar Association.
Holden began working with Perry & Brandt as an intern in the Spring of 2020. After passing the Bar, Holden joined the firm as an Associate Attorney. Holden became a Partner in Perry, Brandt & McLemore in January 2024.
Holden is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the Wake County Bar, and the Craven-Everett Inn of Court. He is also very active in the Wake Forest community, serving as the Grant Coordinator for the Koinonia Foundation and as a member on the Kerr YMCA’s Board of Advisors.
